Well, I have decided that I DETEST the current URL of my blog. So from now on, if you'd like to see my updates on my CURRENT life, please head to...
legrandebouffe.blogspot.com
It was the name of my old blog's URL, and I prefer it.
Never fear, though, I will keep the blog NAME the same! Out of the fridge/Into the fire will keep running. Just make sure to visit the current one by clicking on the link above.
Lots of love to all blogsters out there,
Catherine

Update for the week

Well, yesterday I was looking through random peoples' blogs and I came across one written by a girl who I think was in the Phillippines. On her blog I found this fantastic quote she had posted, and I'd like to share it with you so here it is:
"Cowardice asks the question, 'Is it safe?'Expediency asks the question,'Is it politics?'Vanity asks the question,'Is it popular?'But, conscience asks the question, 'Is it right?'And there comes a time when one must takea position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular but one must take it because one's conscience tells one that it is right."
-Martin Luther King, Jr.
I found that quote really inspirational, so I hope you like it too.
In other news, today, I hope, is my last day off school as I'm almost better from my cold. Thank God!
This morning, mum and I weren't too happy with each other because she was complaining to me that she couldn't work because she doesn't have the time, and then telling me to mind my own business. It annoyed me so I asked her how we were going to keep going without some more money in the flow, and of course none of us knows any alternative. For now, I suppose I'll just have to find my own job and see how I handle it.
Also, I'm on the hunt for a great dress for this year's dance! Oh my gosh, a real school dance! Some girls at school are complaining about it not being a proper formal but for God's sake, we're only in year 10 and who cares, anyway. I prefer costumes to heavy dresses anyhow. But just so you know, my plan is to go as a flapper- dress, highheels, hat, hair, makeup and all.
I wonder if by then I'll have someone ( a boy) to ask to go with me?
And lastly, I'm really looking forward to this coming weekend. My community's going to have our Handing-Back convivence!! I have the feeling it's going to be really good.
So, I'd better get off my arse and wash my hair and do my maths assignment.
Aurevoir until next time,
Catherine
